The Leibniz Institute DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures is one of the most comprehensive biological resource centers worldwide. As a key player in the field of microbiology and biotechnology, DSMZ serves as a vital hub for researchers, providing access to an extensive collection of microorganisms and cell cultures. As a joint project between the Departments for Plant Viruses and Bioinformatics, IT & Databases, we will develop a novel plant virus database to broaden our renowned portfolio of scientific databases (
https://hub.dsmz.de) and provide access to new datasets about our resources to the scientific community.
